CLARINETISSIMO  FESTIVAL is an idea of the Belgian clarinetist and conductor Hedwig Swimberghe (previous editions 2004, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2011 took place at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020  Conservatory Bruges).


CLARINETISSIMO FESTIVAL 2023

is NOT a COMPETITION,

it is   

" a SEARCH for GREAT ENTHUSIASM AND INTEREST"


All participants will receive a CERTIFICATE signed by the team of International Soloists/Professors. Amongst the participants the team will select a number of extraordinary YOUNG TALENTS who will receive the "Special Diploma Young Talent Clarinetissimo 2023".

The Conservatory is situated in the centre of the city, at 100 m. from the market square and surrounded by many good restaurants, hotels in all categories, museums, bars ...

STIPULATIONS

•Age: from 14 years to ...    (no limit of age)

•Open to Bachelors and Masters Clarinet - Bass Clarinet - Eb Clarinet


All candidates are kindly requested to fill in the Registration Form.


Teachers/Professors of music schools and conservatories are kindly requested to choose the participants in the group "14 years to ..." amongst their MOST TALENTED students and to fill in the Recommendation part.

Participation fee includes:

* Masterclasses with the International Soloists/Professors

* Course of STAGE FRIGHT AND STAGING

* option: 4 x lunch: soup, main dish, water, coffee, tea

* perform as a SOLOIST  and in Chamber Music at the daily Festival Concerts (5-6 Janurary)

* The selected YOUNG TALENTS will perform also at the FINAL CONCERT (7/01/20)

* Pianists are provided, of course one can bring their own pianist.


**All participants must be present the FULL period of the Festival


ALL ACTIVITIES except the concerts are open to the public.

Concerts 5 and 6 January: € 10 entrance

FINAL Concert January 7th: € 15 (to be ordered at alascala@skynet.be)




Maximum 40 participants will be accepted.


Participants are responsible for their own transport, accommodation, insurance and meals.
